When the adults asked me if I was excited, I was like "ehn, yeah sure", but when we got to the airport, and we start ending towards the plane, it really started to sink in. I start getting really excited and nervous at the same time, because it was first time on a plane. The plane took so long to go down the runway that the suspense eventually died down, but then when it started taking off, I start freaking out. I was like a little kid in a candy store, it was the coolest thing I have ever witnessed in my entire life, especially when we went over the clouds, that was my favorite part.
When the plane flew over the mountains, I knew we had arrived, it was beautiful I couldn't stop looking at them. And then we we finally got to our cabin, I took so many pictures of the view, and then I called my mom because I had to let out my enthusiasm to someone. She was excited for me, I can't wait to get home and show her all the pictures I'm going to take. The environment was so different that the somewhat terrifying feeling that we were in the middle nowhere finally hit me, but I'm still excited because I'm a kid at heart, so I want to go out and explore, and learn as much as I can.
