Cincinnati CATC - Ricki - Day 3

Today was fantastic, although it had its ups and downs. We hiked up to Trout Lake(where we saw the very colorful Western Tanager) and debated Bison issues that are currently going on, and need to be solved. Although I tripped, and was feeling pretty out of it, I still had a great time. It’s really windy outside, but it feels nice. My new pet (stuffed) Bison, Pongo, agrees.

We saw hundreds of Bison today (which I’ve been dying to see) and I took several amazing pictures. I mean, we were so close to these giant animals, it just blows my mind.

While we’re on the topic of animals, we were driving through Mammoth and saw Elks just lying there, in the middle of town. They looked like cats and dogs do in Cincinnati, lazing around in the sun or looking for a tree to snooze under.

All in all, today was a 5/5.

Today was awesome.
