Tuesday - Ricki

Today was great. It was fascinating, and enlightening, and everything that I could have hoped for in the Yellowstone experience. We went out to see Old Faithful (which took forever to erupt but was totally worth the wait), but then we got to my favorite part of the trip.

Grand Prismatic was absolutely beautiful. I’m so curious about how the colors get there, and all I wanted to do was jump in and see what was at the bottom (I could never do that, of course, because the thermal feature’s water was super-hot, and I learned that touching and putting things in thermal features have the potential to ruin the beauty forever). I hope Grand Prismatic exists forever, it’s really just too wonderful a thing to go through your life without seeing. I recommend everyone come see GP right now. Grab your car keys, plane tickets, anything, and get over and see this wonderful place.

I also got married to a tree. He saved my life when I fell down a hill. We’re very happy together.
