Pittsburgh MCG - Brian - Day 2
Once upon a time (20 hours ago) I woke up at 5:30, hoping
for a glorious sunrise, but only seeing a fairly decent sunrise, but it had
many photographic opportunities. I then
got breakfast, and then Jess took us to Old Faithful, where I had intended to conduct
a video interview, but was turned down on both attempts. We ate lunch, saw the geyser go off, and then
we went back to the van. We drove
to the Grand Prismatic, and hiked up a mountain, and when we reached our
destination we saw the grand prismatic from above. It was incredible. Pictures were taken, friends were made,
chipmunks became thieves, and sketches of the prismatic were made. As a part of our team building exercise, we
had to carry bricks in our packs, and each person had to carry it for some part
of a trip. I decided to take the bricks
on the mountain’s descent. It was easy,
but my brain went into overdrive, so I often had to stop and wait for everyone
else. But we made it to the car, saw bison and goats, took more pictures and
got home. We were the treated to an
awesome dinner made by Trevor and Claire (MUCHAS GRACIAS). That summarizes my day.

"Edge and I (Grandma Margaret) almost ran into a bison when we were there back in 2004. It's a beautiful place. I'm glad you have this opportunity." I can't wait to see your photos. Love, Grandma
