Cincinnati CATC - Wisdom - Day 4
I had a really great time today, probably the best days I
had thus far. I got to the top of Bunsen Peak, and I felt really accomplished
when I did. At first I was going to fall in the process, and I was going to be
put in a bad situation. (Oh GOD the heights) Once we got to the top I didn’t
want to leave, it was so gorgeous. And we all took our turns carrying our egg
up and down the mountain, that’s true team work right there. I’m really proud
of all of us, especially myself, because I thought I would freak out once I got
to a certain height, or when we were walking through a rocky or narrow path.
But no I did it, and when I would start to get nervous, I could take deep
breaths, calm myself down, and put one foot in front of the other like Michelle
told me. I would like to thank her for preparing us for the big climb, when we walked
up that steep hill next to the Grand Prismatic, it really helped a lot. I will
never forget that experience.

Congratulations on making it to the top! Well done! Bunsen Peak is like the schooling mountain you will be climbing for the next 5 years - and the view from the peak is terrific!
